I’m seriously surprised/saddened by how little American’s seem to even care about this. Is there something in the water?

This all makes me long for the days of public payphones now… I’m betting burner phones will start becoming a hot commodity now.

I was wondering how much of a fight MacHighway will put up with information requests, or if they will notify users of such requests. I guess I need to figure out some way/place to archive my emails that I feel is secure. I had been using gmail as my “dump all”, but I need to rethink that.

I had recently moved off of Firefox to Chrome. Looks like I’ll be heading back to it again.

Damn. I feel paranoid all of a sudden.

Sadly, it seems fear wins these days. Since the events of 09/11, it seems many American’s have no problem with giving away what they should be fighting tooth-and-nail to NOT be giving away.

I think the worst thing about the Patriot Act, and other items like it, are the way they are named. Anyone who fights against it looks like they are not being patriotic.

And worse, now the Government and NSA are using the fear factor to justify what they are doing. Saying things like “we could have possibly prevented 09/11 from happening had we been monitoring these things at that time”.

*sigh*

For some reason in the long ago, there was a reason that I can’t remember as to why, but I didn’t like 1Password. I have been using a product called DataVault by Ascendo that does very much the same thing.

One of the (many) things I’ve learned watching Doctor Who: “Did you know that in 900 years of time and space I’ve never met someone who wasn’t important before?” Everyone is important. It’s a good mantra to remember.

I really wish there was some sort of rule/ritual that when any tree is removed, two more must be planted somewhere to replace them. And not somewhere as in another country, but within a mile or so of the original.

Mine has just jammed up. Any clues? It used to show all 9s when x/z totalled and jammed whilst I was cranking a grand total in x mode.
