Taliesin. The home of the famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. We are in love with his work. Spring Green, Wis., August 2003.
Frank Lloyd Wright had this wonderful way of "framing nature". Here's an example.
Earl in front of Taliesin.
Survivor A screencap from my (J.P.'s) Survivor audition video. They didn't even call me back. I did apply for Big Brother 4 (with a different tape), and received a call back from a casting agent. I had been selected as a semi-finalist. After thinking it over for a week, I decided not to go to the interview. My place is with Earl.

Shootin' the breeze with his brother David.

Here's Helen, Earl and Rick - November 2001. Rick is Earl's step-brother and Helen is his girlfriend. They come up and visit us from time to time. J.P. thinks Rick's haircut is pretty cool. :)
Looking through the waterfall at Watkins Glen State Park. October, 2001.
The glen, or gorge, at Watkins Glen is absolutely breathtaking. We plan on camping there next summer.

Approaching the Central Cascade Bridge, about 1/2 mile into the gorge from the village entrance.
With our friend Gordon in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Gordon is one of the owners of Terry Ranch Wine Cellar in Cheyenne.
At Tim and Gordon's house in Cheyenne.  J.P. and Tim met on-line as they are both clock collectors. We had the chance to meet up with them face to face when we were on vacation in May. They're really nice guys, and we wish we lived closer to them so we could get together more often!
Here's our friends Tim and Gordon.
