Fresh starts....old traditions
Spring .... all the poets love the spring. Fresh flowers, new leaves, new life, new beginnings. Every year I look forward to spring....for all the new life that it brings, but also for all the old memories it brings back, and the traditions that we get to keep alive. On April 13, 1996 JP and I got our fresh start... with our first date. A few years ago we started our own little family tradition, to pay tribute to fresh starts...our Easter picnic. Every Easter Sunday we pack our dinner into a basket and find a park to enjoy. Playing like kids, taking a walk in nature, enjoying mother nature's gifts, throwing a frisbee, flying a kite, or doing cartwheels in the grass. JP does a pretty good cartwheel...or at least he did back on April 11, 2004. I wonder what I can catch on film this year.

Make him do the cartwheels naked this year! Congratulations on your ten-year anniversary!
