South Mountain
With all the hustle and bustle of our weekend in Phoenix, I never thought we would find a chance to escape away by ourselves. I guess if you want it bad enough you make the time, right?
Don't get me wrong, the weekend "event" that we came to Phoenix for was great. We met lots of great guys. Some we will continue to chat with on-line, and maybe we will cross paths again. We also had a lot of fun going to clubs, pool parties, late night movies, and the banquet and comedy show. But JP and I need our alone time...as best friends, we appreciate the quiet times (even the silence) just as much as we enjoy the wild parties. So Saturday morning we snuck off to re-visit South Mountain Park in Phoenix. I have an entire photo album from South Mtn Park from our first visit in 2003. Here is a photo that JP snapped yesterday as I was looking out over Phoenix.
